Wales Millennium Centre

Wales Millennium Centre, based in Cardiff Bay, is Wales' number one visitor attraction and celebrates its 5th Birthday this year (2009). The Centre is one of the most unique and lively performing arts centres in Europe, opened by Her Majesty The Queen in 2004. As a charity, we need to raise £2million a year to fill our funding gap. Every donation we receive makes a huge difference and helps to make great things happen here at the Centre. Every penny raised is put to excellent use and helps to maintain a programme of the highest quality for all to enjoy, so please do all you can to support us in our 5th Birthday year.

For example,

  • £10 could fund a tour of teh Centre for 2 school children through our outreach work;
  • £20 could fund free equipment for a patron who is hard of hearing, enabling them to enjoy a show; and
  • £50 could allow 10 young people to participate in an urban arts workshop.
